My favorite project to date.

I was invited by to participate in their yearly helmet art show, "Trippy Ten." For obvious reasons I have always wanted to participate in this show as I try to create the previously unseen, as nothing is more trippy to me than something new. Thank you for having me.

I took a lot of risks on this helmet:
-These patterns are one continuous image, bridging over gaps and contouring over compound curves.
-The positive space of those patterns consists of .a.gold.leaf genuine silver leaf, with a sulphur solution to patina the surface into varied iridescent and rainbow hues.
-The negative space is a glitch field; careful airbrushing to achieve the look of being unsettled in space.

One shoe-in of the process was using this STUNNING basecoat. What a gorgeous foundation.

Special shout out to for the chrome effect on the visor!

The first person who can find the larger image embedded in the pattern should MESSAGE ME and I'll send you a free gift!
