I'm so grateful to be back in the clinic again next term seeing patients, gaining wisdom, and honing my craft.
It was such a blessing to work at the CWHC this term and have the opportunity to engage with so many beautiful humans! The past four months have helped me to sharpen my awareness of the differences between the body and mind of each individual, listening to both and working together to promote healing.
I've also been honored to explore how Acupuncture can be utilized to process transitions and grief, allowing safe space for clients to release their emotions or gain deeper understanding of experiences they've been through.
In the upcoming term, I'll be digging even deeper into the integrative health model with my clients to explore how Acupuncture and all the TCM modalities can bring more mind/body/spirit balance.

One of the things I've been meditating on over the past year is what kind of practitioner I want to be. How am I going to show up for my clients? What do I want to represent for them and how can I make that mission clear.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to nurture and support all humans through each stage of life. But I felt the principles underlying that statement were worth taking the time to clarify.
- Creating a sense of safety: while the outside work may feel overwhelming, I can practice cultivation of compassionate, non-judgemental space, where clients can feel comfortable and open to discuss their issues.
- Offering recognition: My work is to provide gentle, balanced healthcare to all persons: trans, q***r, cis, and a-gendered. I will continue learning as a practitioner so you can continue feeling heard and seen.
- Supporting bodily autonomy: I want my clients to feel empowered in their own bodies and to feel they can advocate for themselves, whether in my office, or out in the world.
- Healthcare collaboration: There are 168 hours in a week. I only get to see you for 1 hour, possibly 2. Your health is a collaborative effort, with multiple people involved, including you! I'm here to do what I can as an assistant in your preventative care. Know that we are meeting in the middle.
I hope this helps.

I'm so grateful to be back in the clinic again, both on and off campus.
I'm returning with clearer boundaries and deeper intention.
This space is now dedicated to my work in Traditional Chinese Medicine, plant-based body care, and integrative spiritual practice.
I believe care should feel steady, informed, and human. I believe healing happens best when people feel safe in their bodies and respected in their identities. And I believe consistent support often does more than quick fixes.
Over the coming months, I'll be sharing education, insights, and ways to work with both in clinic and virtually. No pressure. No urgency. Just an open door.
If you've been here before, welcome back.
If you're new, I'm glad you found your way here.
