Yesterday we celebrated 250 years of America's journey.
The fireworks eventually faded from the sky, but the light they represented doesn't have to.
Aristotle once wrote,
"The energy of the mind is the essence of life."
Today I'm reflecting on something simple.
Where our mind goes... our attention follows. Where our attention goes... our actions follow. Where our actions go... our future is built.
As people of faith, purpose, and service, we have the opportunity every day to choose what fuels our minds.
Gratitude over complaint. Wisdom over noise. Unity over division. Service over self. Hope over fear.
For me, the greatest freedom isn't only the freedom our nation celebrates...
It's the freedom to become a little better than I was yesterday.
