Wednesday Walkies!! It may be an easy bake oven out there but our dog walking fam still needs to go potty! A big special THANK YOU to our dedicated dog walkers who make sure your pups are taken care of during this heat wave. Stay hydrated and stay cool!

🌡️🐶 Extreme Heat Reminder!

When temperatures climb, our dogs need a little extra help staying safe.

☀️ Walk early in the morning or later in the evening.
💧 Always bring fresh water and take frequent breaks.
🐾 Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds—if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws.
🚗 Never leave your dog in a parked car, even for a minute.
🌳 Stick to shaded areas whenever possible.
😮 Watch for signs of heat exhaustion: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or confusion.

If your dog shows signs of overheating, move them to a cool area, offer cool (not ice-cold) water, and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give your pups plenty of indoor cuddle time until the heat passes! ❤️🐾

🚨 This poor female German shepherd was found abandoned in a home in Woodlawn where the owner evacuated — leaving her behind with no food or water and no one to care for her. SHE IS CONFIRMED DOG FRIENDLY!
