HSI at the Congressman Davis Parade!

Every year, this beloved Westside tradition brings together pride, unity, and essential resources for our community — right before CPS heads back to school. HSI is proud to stand with the Westside, serving and celebrating the strength of our neighborhoods!

Boots on the Ground: Back-to-School at Clark Park!
HSI, in collaboration with an incredible network of community-based organizations, came together to support families with FREE school supplies, food, haircuts, braids, Italian ice, shoes, bouncy houses, and more!

We’re deeply grateful — for the work, for the people, and for the powerful opportunity to build something beautiful together across Chicago. 💜💛

Together, we’re creating safer, healthier communities — one event at a time.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) actively promotes the importance of regular medical check-ups and understanding key health metrics, particularly A1C and fasting blood sugar levels, as part of managing and preventing diabetes through the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES).
