In celebration of Independence Day and America's 250th anniversary, we're looking back at a special moment from Saturday, June 27, when Alderman Hopkins proudly unveiled Honorary John Hancock Way in Streeterville.

This honorary street designation recognizes John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of our nation's Founding Fathers.

The 2026 SOAR Farmers Market season is officially open.
Yesterday, the Hopkins family joined community leaders, local vendors, and residents to celebrate the ribbon-cutting and kickoff of another great season in Streeterville. The SOAR Farmers Market brings fresh food, supports small businesses, and creates opportunities for neighbors to connect throughout the summer.
