One month of “Throop Street Blues” - appreciate all the support and kind words. Lots of new music brewing and another album finished and ready to release. Creativity is a strange beast and I’ve been trying my best not to strangle the thing and let it run free. Thanks for giving it your time of day.

THROOP STREET BLUES is out today. The most painless record to date thanks to the quality and efficiency of the pros behind the instruments and mixing board. I’ve wanted to make a bare bones roots record like this for a long time and Tristan stepped up to the plate to produce this in our living room on Throop Street in Bridgeport, Chicago almost a year ago to the date.

The musicians span from high school classmates, to long-time Chicago bandmates and Ohio transplants in the local scene. A great soulful medley of midwestern string music from a 19th century workers cottage in the big city.

This album and all the singles were perfectly paired with the folky touch of Sara’s hand embroidery. Each song got its own pictograph and were stitched into the final album cover. What a beauty it turned out to be and from a beauty nonetheless.

The album is streaming in most places and I’m looking forward to a physical release and show sometime later this year. I hope it’s enjoyed and thanks for your support always -
