We have emerged from the early days of the pandemic even stronger in part due to the support from the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity and Allies for Community Business.

With a fleet of Sprinter vans and 20 strong field associates, Schlep is ready to handle your logistics, be it delivering furniture, supporting at events, or even just providing heavy lifting. Just when things were taking off, COVID-19 put the brakes on business.

Wanting to put his fleet to good use for the community, Schlep co-owner, Hunter Riley, pivoted to an impossible business plan, delivering PPE, supplies, and food to local nonprofits–for FREE! Incurring the cost of PPE to keep employees and clients safe added to the load. "Now, with the B2B grant, we are climbing out of the hole we were in and regaining the footing we had before the pandemic," said Hunter. www.schlep.it
