The American Bar Endowment awarded a $20,000 Opportunity Grant to Resources Inspiring Success and Empowering (RISE). These funds will help create an online community for youth experiencing homelessness, providing access to attorneys with expertise in housing law and tenants’ rights. The grant will also support legal coaching and landlord partnership training.

RISE aims to bridge the gap between youths/young adults and their communities through education, outreach, advocacy and awareness. The organization has impacted hundreds of young people without stable housing in Texas.
