It is with great sadness in all of our heart we take a moment of silence to inform friends etc of the passing of Mary Renard Liss, a wonderful beautiful spirit, friend, wife of my mentor Ted Liss and teacher here at CAS.

I was a student of Ted Liss for over 5years and personal close friend of both Ted and Marybeth even outside the studio there on Wells Street, along with being so fortunate to have remained a close friend of Marybeths’ up to her passing.
For a considerable number of years after Ted’s passing. Marybeth also taught acting at my studio here before her move back to the West coast to write her book and further her career. She was such a kind giving spirit that had this special inspirational glow about her that made you feel important and you left each night after class knowing that you placed your dream in special loving hands.
So many, as myself, lives have certainly been changed to have been touched by such a loving spirit, a gift from God placed in our midsts.
Left with this painful empty hole in my soul that will never be filled, what still will ever remain, is being so grateful for the many memories and knowing to have been her friend.
One thing that will be clear to all of us, is that her influence was so great, that we all will be taking a piece of her with us as we travel through the journeys of our lives
