We loved hosting our friends and .chicago in our kitchen for a day of community building, kimchi / kimbap making, impromptu karaoke-singing, and (of course) dancing
Kimchi is far more than a side dish — it’s a cornerstone of Korean identity, eaten at every meal and present on every table for thousands of years.
The tradition of making it, known as kimjang (김장), is a cherished communal ritual where families and neighbors gather each winter to prepare it together, a practice UNESCO recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage. More than just food, kimchi embodies the Korean values of community, resourcefulness, and a deep connection to the land.

4 years ago, our tiny sidewalk popsicle stand (Banato) joined the Logan Square Farmers Market. We sold out in 3 hours.
Throughout the years, we have loved this Logan Square community very dearly and made so many incredible friends with our vendors, customers, and market management
All of this to say, we are very grateful for being here and having a moment to celebrate with all of you - our Farmers Market Family!
