Tonight at Hopleaf! We were honored to have Xavier Vanneste, owner of one of our favorite breweries, Brouwerij De Halve Mann at Hopleaf. De Halve Mann beers are featured all week along with their stellar Straffe Hendrick offerings. Xavier is the sixth generation to lead this fabulous brewery. Their Brugge Zot is a Hopleaf customer favorite, The NA version, Sport Zot is among the best NA beers in the world.

Hopleaf has a particularly strong selection of Belgian draft offerings this week. Stop in soon.

Join the Hopleaf and sixth generation owner Xavier Vanneste for a relaxed meet and greet, Monday April 27, starting at 5pm. We will have Straffe on draft as well as Brugse Zot, also a few goodies from the brewery to take home.

Orval Day was a big success. 95 bottles sold! Professor Marty Tomszak was on hand to pitch his book, "Time, Silence, & Yeast" early in the day and then give a 90 minute talk about the Trappists, their history, their faith and their brewing tradition with a focus on the community at Orval.

Last week, our patio was full of happy customers, eating, drinking and enjoying the spring-like weather. This week, the patio is not as popular.
