Love for people experiencing homelessness was in full display Sunday, June 7th as parishioners and friends gathered for a picnic lunch to raise funds for Lincoln Park Community Services. The homeless shelter provides people experiencing homelessness with programs to overcome the issues that caused their homelessness. Graduates of the program are able to move into their own permanent, affordable housing!

Philoptochos is hosting a Picnic Luncheon benefiting Lincoln Park Community Services.

Every day, men and women arrive at Lincoln Park Community Services at their breaking point and with little hope.

At LPCS, they find hope and compassion. LPCS provides programs to help them overcome the issues that caused their homelessness - mental health support, addiction treatment, job training, and placement.

It is a blessed day when they graduate from the program and receive the keys to their own permanent apartment.
