Ever play Operation or with tile puzzles? Imagine the pieces are up to 15’ long by 6’ wide and each one is around $250,000. This was a lot of fun and all sorts of cool to pull off especially as the set/shots were coming together.

🖍What a difference tuning your images can make 😵 without the need for heavy post, simple adjustments can force visuals to tell a much different story. Colder, flatter tones can evoke feelings of isolation or sterility. A bump in temperature can shift to emulate nostalgia and curiosity.

Sound design is more critical than most realize. Bad video with good audio is palatable versus good video with bad audio. Conveying impact & weight require elegant solutions and calls for more finesse when designing for social media/mobile viewing.
For example, iPhone “bass” is -10dB at approximately 450 Hz. Essentially iPhones have no response below 500 Hz. Sub bass is what gives action on-screen that punch but will “disappear” on mobile (which is why monitoring on several devices is key).
This particular work only incorporated basic Premiere chains but my usual primary focus is to balance frequencies so each sound cuts through without overwhelming the audience or getting lost in the mix.
We worked with Xtreme Xperience and Mason Mobley of Centrify Corporation to reveal what it takes to entertain clients for one of the leaders in the modern IT threatscape. There is no shortage in competition, especially in the corporate space-- and to stand out year after year traditionally requires fun and unique solutions; however, lack of creativity often make that increasingly difficult. Organizations the likes of Adobe and ESPN decided to raise the stakes and Xtreme Xperience offered exactly what they were looking for: a legitimate way to differentiate themselves by skipping the golf carts for the latest Ferraris and Lamborghinis on a real racetrack.
