5/5 for 2021: the Reserved List.
Reprints in 2020 devastated the integrity of card prices across formats. RL continues to be the only safe play in MTG. If you're like me and want to see some of your collection retain value or grow, RL is the best option.
Pics are my top choices.
Pick 2/5 for 2021 is Mox Diamond. Growth in cEDH, Covid impacts to retail supply chain, and RL investor demand have created the perfect storm pushing Mox Diamond to its all-time high. However, with cEDH still growing, it will continue to have demand even at the new price-point.

Up first on my list of top picks for 2021 is none other than the Power 9. This is one of those easy, cop-out type of picks that is a must-have on any investing catalog. Owning any one of these is an accomplishment in the world of MTG collectibles, and owning a complete set is the Mt. Kilimanjaro of trading cards. Supply of the P9 at retail vendors is as low as I can ever recall, and thus I think all nine will see significant upward price trajectory in 2021 (25-30% or more). They continue to be a the gold standard for 3-5 year hold times if you’re into collectibles investing.
