"In our world today, it is difficult to take a step back, pause, breathe, and reflect on ourselves and our communities. Everything is racing past us, which leaves little room for building empathy, compassion, and understanding.

Here at SAIC, we are a collective that encompasses varied experiences, and as artists we can use our creative practices to communicate our perspectives. We welcome you to active the spaces within the SAIC Wellness Center as avenues of critical discourse around diversity, gender, race, dis/ability, identity, and mental health.

We invite you to look within, and meditate on what it means to belong.

With/in is looking for works in any media that examine ways in which a sense of belonging can be fostered through practicing compassion."
