Island was move to the side for extra space. We coordinate with contractor and explain to our client the possible concern. Both side of the peninsula need to be set the right height. We use all the remaining material for the backsplash.

Calacatta Classic with full bullnose edge. 6 inches backsplash. We been working with this client for many years. Cabinet normally is not level. We adjust the top to get it right.
We level our tops with woods and client add molding to cover bottom of the tops.
