We've applied for a city-owned vacant lot in the 7th ward! Inspired by Medicinal Plant Gardens like the Dorothy Bradley Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden, we put forth a proposal to steward the land using native and medicinal plants. This would be a wonderful home base for Plates On Purpose in the South Chicago neighborhood. Wish us good luck and favor!

Plates On Purpose was happy to speak to school age children in Chicago about life as a ! The students were awesome and one 1st grader even gave me a hand drawn picture of his future garden 👏🏾
