When you find a kindred you KNOW it! Thanks to and the Creator Summit by I’ve had the incredible opportunity to connect with so many amazing humans in the crafting community and industry. But that’s the best part of the Creator Summit and trade shows like h+h Americas... it’s really about bringing people and ideas together! Connecting in ways that bring us all forward 🧶🧵

That’s a wrap on all the goodness of the Creator Summit with and the h+h Americas Tradeshow week

It was jam packed for us where we co-produced and hosted the second annual Creator Summit, had product demos, hosted legal workshops on Copyright and Trademark and contract law AND co hosted the second annual LYS / designer - instructor meetup with Patty Lyons. It was quite a week for me and my team.

It’s also the closer of a busy event season.

It is full on non stop for me and my team from November to May. Back to back events, loads of extraverting and people-ing and just go go go. I’m so fortunate to have such a great team and grateful for such a successful event season.

This was our biggest event season yet which brought new challenges, new problems to solve, new ideas to be born, new collaborations and relationships and most of all, new clarity as we continue to build.

I’m so excited for what’s ahead. But first… a moment to reflect plus yes… I shall unwind in my happy place for 2 days. Then we start planning for next year!

It’s here!!! It’s Stitch Up Chicago week and I am PUMPED!

This pic was randomly snapped last year just as we opened registration tables and it’s basically what I look like every year when we open the event. It’s my greatest joy and passion to create and host this event.

All the long hours and hard work are worth it when it all comes together and 150 knitters and crocheters arrive ready for a few days of fiber, fun and community.

This all started with an instagram post that said: Anyone wanna come knit or crochet with me? And all these years later I’m so glad that the answer is still: YES!

This year sold out faster than ever before. I was blown away. And we have sponsors who have been with us since day one and who are brand new. We have great co-hosts this year with my dear friends .knits and joining me to host the event. It’s magical in ways I can’t really articulate.

We are also going to have a Designer Showcase featuring the hosts plus designers bringing my worlds together 💜

It’s possible I might smile even bigger this year just for that.

Life is wild. I’m here for it. And as I say to open the event every year: LET’S STITCH!
