JMLS Moot Court Honors Program

Congratulations to Sophie Honeyman, Eleni Eliopoulos, and Abbey Luffey, who this past weekend became national Semi-Finalists in the Prince Evidence Moot Court Competition. The competition was hosted by Brooklyn Law School and brought together 33 teams from across the country. The team was coached by Professor Hugh Mundy. Great job team!

A huge congratulations to Junellie Marin and Jacki Romo who won Second Place Best Brief and were Quarter-Finalists out of 32 teams in the national Hispanic National Bar Moot Court Competition. This is the third year in a row that UIC John Marshall Law School has brought home a top brief award and reached the final elimination rounds in the competition! The team was coached by Anselmo Duran, who was on our winning and second place team in 2007-2008 and is now principal of the Law Office of Anselmo Duran in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. We are proud of you team! 👏🏾

Congrats to Ihsan Arman & Sabrina Karakaya for competition in the Gabrielle Family Law Moot Court Competition! The team was coached by Morgan Gay and Megan Suchy. The team made it too Octofinals! We are very proud of you both for all your handwork!

Congratulations to the Child Welfare and Adoption team for competing last week! The competitors include: Renee Wright, Nicole Herzog, and Kiesha Mull. The team made it to octofinals and was coached by Alexis Pool and Gina Wood!

Congratulations to Adam Baldwin and Tiffany Sanders on their performance in the Leftkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition. The team was coached by Professor Bill McGrath and Professor Hamman with also the assistance of Professor William Ford. Great job team!
