Keating Law founder Michael Shay Keating was honored this Saint Patrick's Day with inclusion into the Irish Legal 100 published by the Irish Voice Newspaper. The Irish Legal 100, founded in 2008, is an annual compilation of the most distinguished Irish legal professionals in the United States who share one common bond: pride in their Irish roots. The Irish Legal list includes United States Supreme Court Justices and the group is hosted by the Irish Ambassador at the residence in Washington D.C.

The Irish Legal 100 hails itself as widely recognized as the preeminent legal award for lawyers of Irish blood. Mike Keating's paternal family (Keating) descends from County Cork and his maternal family (Shay) from County Clare. Both families are proud Irish Americans who have contributed to Chicago's Irish Community for generations.
