Just got back from two weeks in Chicago at the Siebel Institute of Technology & World Brewing Academy… and full transparency: brew school definitely schooled me! 😅 I was far from valedictorian, but I walked out knowing so much more than when I walked in. To be clear, this does not take away from our mission to serve the recovery community — it actually broadens it and expands what recovery can look like. Even slight fermentation affects body, mouthfeel, and flavor. Yeast produces thousands of flavor-active compounds, and allowing a small amount to develop gives us a more genuine, elevated brew.

This choice is about staying in the game, growing, and reaching more people — not stepping away from the mission we’re built on. ❤️

One of my ride-or-die BFFs, Emanuel Roberts, in the recovery space 💙 He showed up for me at trivia at The Local after already supporting others at a recovery documentary at West End. That’s what I love about Emanuel — he shows up.

So much of this community is about that simple, powerful act: showing up. So… who can you show up for today?

Met up with my copacker Will today from . We talked next steps, my big vision as a recovery-driven enterprise, future growth — all the big stuff.

But truth is, I’ve been feeling the burn lately. The long days. The weight of building something real. The pressure that doesn’t let up.
