Today marked a major step forward for Chicago.

With the signing of the Peace Book of Chicago, $900,000 is being invested into youth led work across our communities. This is what it looks like when the city backs real impact.

As Chicago Mayor's Office said, investing in Black and Brown youth is a smart investment. That alignment matters.

Appreciation to City of Chicago – Government and organizations like GoodKids MadCity who are part of making this possible and continuing to create space for this work.

At Be The Proof Foundation, we’re actively employing youth, building confidence, and intervening in violence through structure, mentorship, and discipline.

Looking forward to working and expanding this impact across Chicago.
