So many of our houses of worship work tirelessly to meet the demands of food insecurity. From pantries to after-school meals, they ensure all within their reach have armor against hunger. People often write narratives in their heads to minimize hunger and distance themselves from those experiencing it. Confining the problem to the lazy creates the expanse needed to look the other way.
