In collaboration with Chicago Loop Alliance, Canvas is currating and producing the 2018 ACTIVATE event series.

The series host is a character named EVO, who is a manifestation of Chicago's collective intentions, and who is able to open portals to enter alternate dimensions full of new sights, sounds, and experiences.

EVO's portal next opens on September 13th to: ACTIVATE: MATERIALISTS, an experience of Chicago's fashion landscape on an urban runway in the Loop. The event is a one-night showcase of the city's underground designers, visual artists, and stylists. Interact with stylized art installations and custom creations by some of the city's most prolific fashion hustlers, whose designs are represented worldwide.

EVO's portal next opens on August 16th at the Sullivan Center Alley for Activate: "A.K.A Power House"We are teaming up with Party Noire to transform the event site into a visual exhibition inspired by Chicago’s house music foundation and presented by contemporary artists. Guests will dance under a giant disco ball to the beats of emerging DJs and other live musicians.
