Going back to the Gphone Tumblr archive to find this photo of miss at the shop from the early 2010’s.
For this week’s episode of Chicago clubbing history we’ve got some footage from a local TV show called House Countdown. The show was recorded in 1990 at the Riviera Theatre in Uptown (known to locals as the “The Riv”) during its stint as a nightclub. Riviera Nightclub ran from the mid 80’s through early 90’s before switching back to a concert hall under new owners. Did you ever dance at The Riv or catch House Countdown?
