We are thrilled to announce the resounding success of our 7th Annual Gala! Nearly 700 esteemed guests, including Chinese and American politicians and businessmen, joined us in a celebration of progress and partnership. Special acknowledgments to China's Ambassador to the U.S., Xie Feng, and former Ambassador Terry Branstad and Max Baucus, for their pivotal contributions.

🌟 Key Highlights:
1. Keynote Speech by Ambassador Xie Feng: A powerful message on meeting challenges and implementing the San Francisco meeting's consensus. A strong call for mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.

2. Chicago Mayor's Proclamation: In a historic gesture, Chicago Mayor's Office Brandon Johnson proclaimed November 20, 2023, as "China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A. - Chicago Impact Day" in Chicago. This recognition honors the CGCC's constant efforts in strengthening the bilateral economic partnership between China and Chicago.

3. Pin Ni's Vision: Highlighting the budding signs of 'early spring' in the U.S.-China relationship amidst Chicago's winter. His emphasis on peaceful coexistence and common development through active engagement and open dialogue is inspiring.

4. "U.S.-China Friendship Envoy Award" Presentation: Ambassador Xie Feng presented the prestigious "U.S.-China Friendship Envoy Award" to former U.S. Ambassador to China, Max Baucus . This award acknowledges his long-term dedication to nurturing U.S.-China relations and fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.

5. Award Recognitions:
- Exceptional Influence: Awarded to C & D USA.
- Outstanding Sino-U.S. Manufacturing Award: Presented to Fuyao Glass Illinois Inc.
- Excellence in Social Responsibility and Contribution: Honored to Bank of China Chicago.
- Cutting-Edge New Energy Innovator Award: Bestowed upon BROAD USA.

6. U.S.-China Cooperation Panel Discussion: Statistics from the Chicago city government show China as Chicago's largest trade recipient, with trade valued at $102 billion in 2022, a staggering 162 percent increase over the last decade. Panelists from World Business Chicago, SelectUSA, US Heartland China Association , and Hong Kong Trade Development Council offered their critical perspectives on U.S.-China trade and investment policies and the latest developments, expressing optimism and calling for a more promising future in trade relations.
