"The joy of Sonata Di Spettacolo is much like the joy derived from dancing. It’s freeing, it’s fun, it’s expressive and it gets you out of your damn head. The first time we played together we instantly vibed. Matt is a wicked talented jazz musician - capable not just in the drums but also on the Trumpet, Trombone, saxophone, Base, Piano, ETCETERA - with a great instinct as to what a moment needs and how to convey it, and John is very responsive to sound and physically emotive, so we dance very well together. Sonata Di Spettacolo it combines mediums, creating an improv experience that’s truly a spettacolo!"
