Many of you have been asking about our annual pop tab event, here it is....

As usual the gracious folks over at the Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille have offered us space for our collection so come drop off your tabs, have a bite and a drink or 3 and hang out

From the RMHC website:
We accept tabs from soda pop, soup, pet food, and other canned goods, and then work with a local recycler to turn those tabs into money. The amount we get is based on the price of the aluminum the tabs are made of. It takes about 1,000 pull tabs to equal 1 lb. of aluminum!
The money from the recycled pull tabs goes into our Family Fund, which gives families staying at the Ronald McDonald House special moments of normalcy and joy – like birthday gifts, trips to the hair salon, and anniversary dinners.
