Today marks 8 years of sobriety from alcohol. I’m also happy to share that I am 6+ years sober from ma*****na and 5+ years nicotine-free today. Since taking that first step 8 years ago, life has improved in every imaginable way, and this journey has also shown me that even through life’s difficult moments, it’s okay to feel tough emotions, to process them, and to seek help when needed.
