Let me tell you why that is impactful (Jill’s Story)👇🏽

I was told by my father when I was a young adult that I would never last in a relationship beyond 3 years and no one would want to deal with me.

As one of the with father wounds, I thought I had to fight my man to be a strong black woman… but God! 🙌🏽 I’ve learned healthy ways to engage with this strong black man.

Marriage, parenting, and attempting to be healthy adults is not for the faint at heart. We’ve been putting in the work!

It’s a testament that marriage can be good and it doesn’t have to be prison. Our kids will see that it is possible for people to love each other, work through conflict, and STILL LIKE each other! 🙌🏽
