Maid For Chicago is currently hiring cleaning/maid specialists. We try to provide the best residential and office cleaning service in the industry. Our many positive reviews show the pride and dedication we put into this line of business. You must have cleaning experience from a past employer and all references and criminal background record will be checked. You must work hard, fast, thoroughly, and have good eye sight to clean every detail, smudge, streak, smears, marks, etc. Mopping and sometimes working on your hands and knees is a requirement. You can make up to $500 + per week or more and gas reimbursement if you have a car. We are different from other cleaning companies because we pay you fairly for the amount of time you work per hour instead of paying you a flat amount and expect you to clean an entire house by yourself where you could be earning less than minimum wage per hour. More importantly, you will be paired with a partner who helps you. No weekends and nightly work are expected.

Qualifications:

- You must be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Having a car or living in the city are a plus but not mandatory. You must be able to meet your partner at the first cleaning each day by 8-8:30 AM and service starts at 9-9:30 AM.

How to Clean and Prevent Mold in Bath Toys

If your kids are like mine, the first thing they do when you put them in the bathtub is grab their toys and put them directly in their mouths. Initially, I didn’t think this was that much of a problem until my son squeezed his rubber ducky and I noticed mold lurking in the inside of the toy. Much to my dismay, I grabbed the toy and realized I needed to get better at keeping bath toys clean. We’ve gathered up some tips from around the web and given you all you need to know to make sure that your child’s bath is good “clean” fun.

Plug the holes- Many bath toys, especially ones that sq**rt water or squeak have holes the bottom which can be a target for water to enter and mold to grow. Place a dab of hot glue on these toys before placing them in the bath and you’ll create a water-proof seal on the toy.
Boil the toys- If you didn’t get a chance to seal your child’s toys and want to make sure they are safe you can take the toys and boil them in hot water and squeeze out any of the “yuck” from the insides. Let dry thoroughly.
Bleach kills mold- Simply allow the toys to soak in a bleach bath overnight. To make, mix ¾ cup of bleach with one gallon of water. Rinse toys with water multiple times then allow to air-dry. The bleach will evaporate and all you’ll be left with are clean toys!

In the wash- Running bath toys through the dishwasher also sanitizes and kills any gunk or mold that may be growing on both the inside and out.

With all of these methods, it’s still a good idea to make sure that you throw out any toy that seems “dark” in the inside and keep the kids away from the cleaning process. Afterall, you want your child’s bath to be a place where they can get clean, not be exposed to dirty toys.
