I set out to capture Memorial Day yesterday in black and white. Though I didn’t originally intend to photograph the cemetery, I found myself drawn to it.

Those who sacrificed and lost their lives to the perils of war are remembered.

Took a chance with some expired film, hoping that it would really deliver colors to suit the look Katie asked for. Very happy with the results.
