Holly , Class of 2021, PAS-3

Holly is from Kenosha, WI and studied biology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She started as a CNA at a nursing home and rehab facility for 4 years before becoming a cardiac procedure tech in same day surgery/PACU. Rush has always been a dream of Holly’s, having learned about Rush from her mom who also attended graduate school in Chicago. She was drawn to the Rush PA program specifically for their small class size, the ability to rotate through such a prestigious academic hospital and the additional 6 months of advanced clinical training. Plus, it wasn’t hard for her to choose a school only 1 hour away from her fiancé, step-son and dog. Holly’s favorite clinical experiences vary widely and include general surgery, family medicine, interventional GI, and women’s health. In her spare time, Holly practices yoga, watches the Great British Bake Off with her family, and plans her approaching wedding 😍 👰.
