What is the SBIF program?

The Small Business Improvement Fund is a reimbursable grant available to small businesses and manufacturers, funded through Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts.

Each month, a new TIF opens for SBIF, and the rollout calendar can be found on Chicago.gov.

SomerCor administers the program.

Check out SBIF online or utilize their locator tool to find out whether your business is eligible.
