Take the Pledge to Sledge: Fall Protection

Tent installations often require ladders, lifts, and work at height. Falls remain one of the most serious job site risks and can happen quickly when crews are moving fast.

What’s the hazard?
Working from ladders, lifts, tent frames, trucks, or other elevated surfaces can create risks for slips, loss of balance, improper footing, and serious fall injuries.

What’s the control?
Inspect ladders and lifts before use, place ladders on stable ground, maintain three points of contact, avoid overreaching, and use proper fall protection when required. Make sure crew members are trained before working at height.

Crew reminder:
Slow down before you climb. The right ladder, setup, and support can help prevent a serious injury.
