While cleaning the studio I ended up doing the opposite of cleaning —
I started making things out of the scraps that were supposed to be thrown away.

Each collage in this little series came from whatever was already sitting on the desk: torn edges, leftovers, textures, tiny words, pieces with no plan. Somehow they started talking to each other, turning into a sequence, a story, a strange little world made from nothing.

It’s wild how much life lives in the scraps.

I loved Tuscany. Such a beautiful part of Italy. I hope to be back someday. Art is everywhere and creativity is in the air.
