On my way to say “hi” and connect with the ocean (as one does 😊) I listened to my playlist for my group RESET Breathwork this evening and was thinking about the six women joining tonight. Each one is incredible, resilient, and open to doing deep work on themselves because the payout is a felt, embodied shift. Each woman is moving through her own transition: a new business, military retirement, divorce, a new job…

While listening and thinking about these women and my own life, I was moved through my own emotional arc while staring at the ocean’s expansiveness, all the life below the surface, and the waves moving inward crashing in. The relativity gets me every. single. time.

Life is remarkable and full of contrast. Sometimes we see it coming, other times it catches us by surprise. And sometimes things get imprinted: “why me”… “am I good enough”… “am I worthy”… “will I be rejected”… “I’m so lost.” And we carry it around like weight.

We have the power to move through the heaviness, the internalized conditioning, and lean into our worthiness, our beauty, our triumphs, our resiliency, our self-trust in this journey called life. Because you’ve likely already seen the bottom, or something close to it, so there’s nothing to fear. You’re still here, in this beautiful, wild, expansive life.

When I let go of what I knew so that something else could emerge, I had no idea that shedding my career and moving through all the identity shifts was going to put me here. Today, staring at this ocean I love so much and feeling a wealth of gratitude for the work I get to do tonight with these women, I’m probably more surprised than anyone else. But this is the unfolding of listening to yourself, moving through hardship, and trusting the process of your life because you trust yourself.

There’s still time… Live big, find the joy. You are courageous even through the chaotic moments and pain. You have a light to shine, and a lot will happen between the beginning and the end of this ONE PRECIOUS LIFE.

Don’t carry the sticky stuff with you. Put it down.

That’s exactly what we’re doing tonight.

Palo santo is more than a modern wellness trend.

It is a sacred wood with lineage, traditionally used in Indigenous healing and ceremonial practices and carried forward with reverence.

Its ceremonial use originates in Indigenous communities of South America, where it has long been approached with intention, respect, and care.

Palo santo takes decades to become aromatic. The tree grows for many years, dies naturally, and then slowly ages and dries over time. Only after this long process does the wood develop its lovely and warm distinctive scent. This is why sustainable sourcing and mindful use matter.

Spiritually, while we use sage for heavier lifting, palo santo has been used to gently clear stagnant energy, while also inviting protection, clarity, and balance.

○ The clearing is not forceful.
○ It is restorative.
○ It releases what no longer serves and supports a return to harmony.

From a scientific perspective, its warm aroma comes from natural plant compounds like limonene. Scent is processed directly through the limbic system, the part of the brain tied to emotion, memory, and safety. This is why the ritual IS so grounding. The nervous system receives a signal to slow down, settle, and return to presence.

○ This practice is about release and invitation.
○ About honoring lineage and intention.
○ About choosing what you let go of and what you welcome next.

Use with respect.
Use with awareness.
Use with gratitude.

***Look for sellers who source only naturally fallen wood and are transparent about sustainability & community partnerships.
