I have 7 paintings in the Earth Day Exhibition at the Devonshire Cultural Center, 4400 Greenwood St., Skokie. The show, curated by Debra Hatchett of Anatomically Correct, will be up until June 26, 2026.

My oil painting, Samuel, is included in The Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts Portrait Show, which opens this Friday, December 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Academy is located at 1012 N. Dearborn Ave., Chicago. The painting measures about 18" square and will be on view until January 4.

The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, has accepted 7 more of my figure drawings and paintings for their permanent collection. The Institute already has two other paintings that were shown in their juried shows several years ago. This is a terrific honor to be included in their permanent collection.

Mirror Mirror, my 30 x 24 inch oil and colored pencil drawing on paper, is being exhibited in the Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists Members' show at the Bridgeport Art Center, 1220 W. 35th St., Chicago, starting January 17 through March 7, 2025. The opening reception and award ceremony will be on Friday, January 17, 7 to 10 p.m. A second reception will be on Friday, February 21, 7 to 10 p.m. The 4th floor Gallery is open Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon.

My pen and ink drawing, Tabletop, sold at the 10 x 10 Show at Jackson-Junge Gallery, 1389 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Every piece of art had to be exactly 10" x 10" to be juried into the show. It's a n**e so I'm not posting the image!

Five of my watercolors and one photograph from my series, "A Year in the Tropics," which is based upon my U.S. Army days in Vietnam are in the Graphic Novel Show at Triton College, 2000 5th Ave., River Grove, IL, Fine Arts Gallery in Building J until April 19. The gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and Thursday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
