These are the only photos I have of you. I’m sure there’s plenty more somewhere. I admired your strength & dedication towards your future. Your ambition towards success was something I hope to achieve some day. We may not have had the closest relationship, but the love was very much alive in our own way. I’m grateful that you were able to show a different side of yourself towards the end. You fought to keep your family safe & well taken care of even though you knew you would end up hospitalized next. You fought through Christmas & the New Year... until last night. I’m happy to have heard from you yesterday morning before they intubated you. I just wish that you could have texted me back today, but I understand the fight is over. Rest easy, Pa. “Pa Lante”
