Today is the start of spring sports for high schools in the state of Illinois. It is also the first day of the lacrosse tryouts for many programs gearing up and preparing for successful seasons. Therefore TEAM Str8 LAX would like to first wish all of our HS aged players good luck with their respective tryouts. We’d also like to say good luck to all of the HS programs in the state. We hope you all see the success you set out to achieve. Here at TEAM Str8 LAX, it is important for us to continue to see the growth of the sport in our state, as well as improvement in the overall quality of play. To that point, we are always striving to do our part. However, we know we are only part of a whole. Therefore, please know we wholeheartedly wish all IL HS programs much success this lacrosse season! We’ll be watching!

This passed weekend TEAM Str8 LAX traveled to the San Diego to compete in the Challenge. It was a great weekend and a great event! Congrats to and for making the All Tournament Team! also made the All Star game along with Well done fellas!
Shoutout to for posting this video. It is great to hear Coach Ordierna of validate and confirm a message we are consistently relaying to our freshman and sophomore players. That is the fact that at this stage in their development their main focus should be on the development of their skills to ensure they are prepared for when they reach a recruitable age. This is the first 60 seconds of the interview but we encourage all young players to watch the full clip.
