A snippet from today’s Miss Illinois Teen USA pageant and I am so honored. ❤️

I met when she was a little girl. I was giving her an award on behalf of the for her volunteer work. We reconnected years later when she reached out to ask whether she could shadow me for a day . It has been such a privilege to watch her grow into a confident (and, yes, stunningly beautiful) young woman, to share whatever wisdom I have to impart and even to collaborate with her on stage as co-emcees.
