Tree density is an environmental justice issue, as minority communities on the South and West sides have fewer trees and are hit with higher temperatures and poorer air quality. Tell your alderman to "vote yes" on the Urban Forestry Advisory Board (UFAB) and help pass the UFAB Ordinance through City Council on Wednesday. The ordinance will establish a board of experts and policymakers to prevent tree loss and increase Chicago's tree canopy in every neighborhood.
