Meet Percebes, a.k.a. Goose Barnacles, Chefs' New Favorite Mollusk | Tasting Table Colloquially known as dinosaur toes thanks to their craggy exterior, percebes are considered a delicacy along the Iberian Peninsula. Now, they're gaining popularity in the States.

We are very excited that noted winemaker Will Berliner, owner of Australia's Cloudburst Wines, will be joining us for a special dinner next Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m, featuring his lively, structured Cabernet Sauvignons and beautifully-textured Chardonnays. The cost of the four-course menu with pairings, which feature the 2010 and 2011 vintages, is $225 per person (excluding tax or gratuity). Seating is limited. L2O hosts dinner with guest chef Christian Bau You've never heard of chef Christian Bau, but the German chef, who heads up intimate, 34-seat Restaurant Schloss Berg in Perl Nennig (close to the French border), has held the maximum three-star rating from the Michelin Guide since 2005.
