Finally got the trampoline back together after it blew down the gully. Not sure who gets more use out of it. . . l

What can I say…. I’m gutted it has come to this but our hand has been forced. It’s not in a firefighters nature to stand aside and not turn out when we are called to help. But after 15 months of negotiations we are still at an impasse. We are walking off the job for one hour 11am- 12 am 19th and 26th August. We are asking for relevant pay, but most of all we want reliable equipment and training, and recognition and support for our physical and mental Health. I love my job but as frontline staff we are completely over looked and undervalued. As things stand I am not doing right by my family working over 60hours most weeks just to keep the trucks on the run. Something has to change. Thank you to everyone who supports us and hopefully the people with the power to fix this look past their egos and take this seriously
