This new resource features a printable anti-slavery primary source: an abolitionist alphabet book for children, published originally in 1847.
I included images of slavery from other abolitionist texts, along with some footnotes to explain some aspects of the text to 6th-9th grade students.
A few parts of texts or images were edited to make them more culturally sensitive and age-appropriate.
