A.M. Early Morning

Last year, I ran my first half marathon, and about 25 minutes left in the race, I started to cramp up badly. I had worked hard for six months training and had already lost 20 pounds. I was getting ready to start walking when a pacer named Craig said, “Hey man, run with us; you got this.” He pushed me through to the finish line last year, and with all the crowds of people, I was never able to find Craig. This year, five minutes into the race, I saw him holding up his sign, so I went over and spoke to him. He told me he remembered my story and had been sharing it throughout the year to motivate others. This year, I ran the entire race with Craig. I’m down 50 lbs, and I worked for it every single day. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me and reached out with positivity. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT IN LIFE IF YOU WORK FOR IT. 💪🏽

Performing has gotten me out of major slumps in my life. Thank you to all the people supporting me this weekend and in my career. I’m so grateful to have these talents to make people smile. I remember you throwing bags of candy to my teammates in the baseball dugout. 😂 I ran hella laps for that s**t. 😂

4 AM pickups at Gram’s crib, and I’d sit and wait to go to school and wake up Maris.
