Bayron’s journey to Netflix began long before his first job in tech.

His story—fleeing civil war as a child, growing up in LA’s Pico-Union neighborhood, and becoming a mentor and leader in engineering—is one of resilience, sacrifice, and community.

What struck us most? Bayron spent more time building coalitions and giving back than on his actual studies—because mentorship was the mission all along.

Now at Netflix, Bayron’s still living that mission: pouring into others, showing up for the next generation, and reminding us all that success is sweeter when it’s shared.
