The epic climax of III: The Gang Edition has Ryo turn into a cartoon and fight Perfect Chaos while ripping off Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Gang Entertainment at its best! We once again have our friend Jack Greenslade to thank for the awesome "Take On Me" style animation he did for "Super Ryo." This sequence would be absolute garbage without his work. Jack gets an extra shout-out for managing to find almost all of the original animation assets 15 years later when I got back in touch about remastering the movie a few months ago. Thanks Jack!

III: The Gang Edition borrows pretty heavily from The Lord of the Rings throughout the 2nd half of the movie. We wanted to give Joy one more shot at confronting Ryo about her feelings for him and thought that Aragorn's reply to Éowyn from "Return of the King" would be perfect, followed up by a classic Ryo stonewalling.
