Making a tapered bit without hydroforming is quite an undertaking, luckily we have enough brain cells (unlike people rely on hydroforming to calibrate their tapers)

Our engraver is engraving some tuba bells for a customer. The first picture is the original engraving, and the next is the updated version! All done by hand, here in Chicago.
